March

We've been very busy in Kindergarten!

We wrapped up our Author Study on Robert Munsch by reading Thomas' Snowsuit. The children then had to bring in their coats and color an exact replica. From there, they began their descriptive writing pieces - we are working on adjectives! They did such an amazing job!

We have been using a variety of materials to help gain a better understanding of Math concepts.
  • Dominoes to compare numbers (greater than and less than)
  • Cereal for sorting and graphing
  • Potatoes for measuring

Try as we may...that sneaky leprechaun got away!!
The children's traps were AWESOME! The detail on each one blew me away. It's something very special to get a glimpse at how their minds work. I loved hearing all their ideas and seeing their final projects!
